Maggie’s Center is a place to turn to for help with cancer related problems, including for those who love and look after someone with cancer. Help with information, benefits advice, psychological support, courses and stress reducing methods are available.
Place-making drives this proposal. Situated along a prominent Amsterdam, NE canal, the architectural promenade proceeds from the public street, where a public garden and cafe is provided, to progressively more private spaces as one moves up through the building culminating in an elevated contemplation garden looking down the canal to a public market.
